| U2 fans all over the world
have traveled to Dublin to see the dozens of U2-related sights
in the band's hometown. @U2 has made those trips easier with
our Guide to U2's Dublin, which has
been online since the late 1990s.
Now, we've moved the guide to Google Maps, where you can enjoy
a more interactive experience that includes satellite views,
zooming in and out, directions from one spot to another, and
much more.
Tips for Using the New Guide
A few things you should know:
- We highly recommend you stretch your
browser as tall as possible. It doesn't need to be
any wider than you have it now, but extra height will help.
- Blue markers are places that
you can visit. Red markers are
places that no longer exist, but are worth knowing about.
- The list of locations begins with Hanover Quay; from there,
we try to list other locations in something of a geographical
order.
- On the old Dublin Guide, we listed information (but not
specific addresses or directions) about Bono's and Edge's
houses. Due to the availability of satellite imagery, driving
directions, etc., on Google Maps, we've removed those listings
from the guide.
As always, the Guide to U2's Dublin
is a work-in-progress.
We're always interested in any new information you can share,
any suggestions for new places to add, new photos, etc. Please
email webmaster :::at::: atu2.com
if you have feedback or content to share.
